Roofing / EPDM

About

Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane. It is widely used in low-slope roofing applications in the United States and worldwide. Its two main ingredients, Ethylene and Propylene are derived from oil and natural gas. The EPDM system utilizes specialized tapes and adhesives to bond the sheets together that make up the entirety of the roof system. It is convenient because it comes in large rolls which means fewer seams, and requires no special equipment to install.
