Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) is a plastic material found in many common household items. PVC roof membrane is a single ply sheet that is reinforced with a woven polyester mesh to enhance tensile strength. The overlap of the sheets are heat-welded using hot air machines to create a watertight bond. PVC sheets can be either mechanically fastened or fully adhered to the substrate. PVC membranes deliver a pliable and durable sheet with excellent weathering characteristics and resistance to harsh chemicals and industrial pollutants.
